Every employee must undergo a state and federal criminal background check in addition to pre-employment screening.

​M4 SECURITY Agent Training and Certification
M4 SECURITY implements regular training for all agents to ensure our clients are exposed to the best personnel for optimum service. Our employees are trained in updates concerning local, state and federal laws for the security industry. Additionally, agents receive training in patrol techniques and self-defense tactics. Every armed agent is state trained and certified in accordance with the MD State Police Firearms Certification.

Agent Uniforms
Our regular agent uniforms are black shirts emblazoned with white security lettering and with M4 Security patches on both shoulders, security lettered black caps/hats and black khaki/cargo pants. Security marked jackets/windbreakers as dictated by weather.  Uniforms can be tailored for individual situations or client preference.  Executive security guards or bodyguards wear professional unmarked dress suits.
